Why A Lot's Of Products Are "Out Of Stock"?? 01/31/2010 |

One frequent question we are receiving for a while is "Why there are many products "Out Of Stock" on HSA website? Well I want to take this opportunity to clarify that... DO NOT DEPEND FROM US BUT FROM MANUFACTURERS AND DISTRIBUTORS.
the answer is in fact quite simple. There are basically 2 major reasons:
1) The China "Crack Down" on Airsoft Manufacturer. It all started before the Beijing Olympics Games which has basically STOPPED MOST of ALL USA retailers orders,.... including ours. Products already in a container and ready to ship seated still at the Chinese Ports docs for 6 Months or more. that is why pretty much ALL China Brands JG, AGM, DBoys, Cyma and so on....ARE Out Of Stock and NO ONE KNOW WHEN OR IF THEY WILL BE BACK IN BUSINESS!!

2) This terrible Economy that all world experiencing. Manufacturers all over the world CUT productions in HALF due to the LOW demand, some closed down some laid off many workers...and so on, US Distributors warehouses are most of the times EMPTY as they as well CUT orders frequency and Quantities as well, so bottom line waiting time is now 10 time longer and quantities are very limited, sometime their stocks is just enough for just few retailers. What before used to be about 3 weeks is now about 1-3 MONTHS or even MORE!, including pretty much all the High-End Manufacturers (CA, G&G, TM, WE, ...) not just the china made. So yes, it is safe to say...It's been hard lately getting stuff in, BUT since we are working very close with most manufacturers and distributors we are one of the few still managing to get stuff in on a weekly basis, it's just that maybe what 'YOU" want is not available this week or "Quantities" are limited so they are going out of stock much faster than before, sometime the popular products sold out even before arrival (Pre-Orders) and due to the longer re-stocking/delivery time, it seams that they are NEVER in stock. Please keep in mind We are NOT the only one to have a lots of stuff "Out Of Stock" in fact most of the other major US retailers inventory is "Half Empty" as well. Be ASSURED that WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN to bring the stuff you want in, but please be patient and once again understand that ALL THIS DO NOT DEPEND FROM US!

Recently we have been notified that some peoples are receiving emails from someone who is claiming to be us using: info@, service@, orders@, admin@ support@ (or any other common title)..@hotspotairsoft.com email name,
PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE IT FOR A SECOND!!!..THESE ARE SPOOF EMAILS AND ARE NOT SENT FROM US NOR FROM OUR SERVER!!!.
Please do NOT click any link posted in these emails!
Yes these emails "Look" like are sent by us and from our server but they are NOT. if you trace the IP address in some of the Headers you'll see they come from all over the globe; Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Pakistan... and so on. In fact our sever uses the highest security possible and we DO NOT sell or give away any of our customers information....PERIOD!!!
These Scam Artist are very good on this, they
are using trusted well known and legit websites "Names" so that most people
will open and click the links in these emails, so they can gain access to
their emails address books and spread their viruses or propagandas. the sad
part on all of this is that unfortunately there is really no effective way
to prevent or stop them. (at least that we know)
Please use common sense, if you are receiving
any of these spoof emails read the "Subject" line before opening
them, we would never send emails with something like: "Just now" or "You
Need This" or with inappropriate language or anything like that as
"Subject". usually our emails "Subjects" are very self explanatory on what
the emails is in regard to so our customers know in advance. For all others
"NON Customers" and not interested in becoming one, this open letter should
help,....or just "Block" anything coming as "......@hotspotairsoft.com" and

It came to our attention that some low life individuals, once again, are trying to spread some false rumors about HSA.
This time, according to them, we have just filed for "bankruptcy" and we are supposedly "broke". DO NOT BELIEVE IT FOR ONE SECOND! there is NOTHING more false and faraway from the truth.
This is just another pathetic attempt to diminish our constant success in running our business, which is also their deep frustration, disappointment and a big pain in these individual's ....."posterior" areas.
In fact not only we are "EXPANDING" even more our inventory daily, but we have also invested a lot on improving our store and website with "REAL TIME INVENTORY". That's right, we are almost done configuring our specially customized software's. They are designed to work with our Retail Store, Website and Phone Orders, by monitoring and synchronizing 1 large inventory, drastically reducing (hopefully in time completely eliminating) Online or store inventory errors with automatic updates every 60 second!!
This means that when an item is sold in the store our website inventory will be also updated immediately, allowing our online customers to know for sure if an item is "In Stock" or not.... and not to many Airsoft Retailers with a large inventory and both Store and website can do that.

Over the past 10 years Hot Spot Airsoft has accomplished many goals and gained the trust and loyalty of over 14,000 satisfied customers from US and all over world (and growing each day)... Unfortunately for our competitors, this made some of them desperate. We had many reports that one of these, so called retailer, uses phrases like "The New Hot Spot On Long Island" intentionally into the content of their slogans to promote their business, hoping to gain some attention... and possibly customers using the well know name of Hot Spot Airsoft, or part of it. This is not the first time they used similar childish and "below the belt" tactic, like acquiring our same website name (.net) and link it to their web site, confusing the few people going to their site thinking they ware on our. Obviously they cannot run their business them selves, they just need someone else do the job for them. Also some other web sites and/or other "retailers" stating to be affiliated or a sister company of "Hot Spot Airsoft" for the same purposes,... Well we are very flattered that other competitors consider us the ones to beat. This is a huge sign of accomplishment for us, which can only inspire us to do even better... and we are! Having said that, we cannot believe that they actually think these petty tactics can work for them, as we will be always 10 steps or more ahead of them, and always with unbeatable prices and service....period! ...no matter how many "Fake Hot Spots" they claim to open or how low they are willing to go. Usually we don't even consider these type of retailers "competitors" but at this point, since we are continuously targeted by these scam artists, we have no choice other than protect our company and our customers. We are now looking seriously into this matter for legal action, Not just to protect our business, but most importantly to protect our customers... because, once again, this type of actions are seriously misleading for the public, not to mention is illegal.
